Current UK Electrical will be OLEV Approved Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargepoint Installers very soon. What does this mean? It means because we will be approved by Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) that you can claim £350 for an electric car charging station for your business through the Workplace Charging Scheme.
What is the workplace charging scheme?
The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a government scheme for electric vehicles offered by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV).
The Workplace Charging Scheme provides £350 off the cost of the purchasing & installing of a new charging station. You can claim up to a maximum of 40 charging stations but you can’t back-claim for old charge stations.
The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS)
OLEV electric home charge scheme grant contributes towards the installation of a home charger for plug-in vehicles.
The grant is a 75% contribution towards the cost of one ChargePoint and its installation up to a maximum of £350 (including VAT) per household/ per eligible vehicle for installations that take place on or after the 1st of April 2020.
